AlterEgo Ginger Beer

The importance of raw materials and artisanal production

For us, raw materials are the starting point and one of the fundamental pillars of Álter Ego. We work with natural ingredients such as ginger, lemon, sugar, and other elements that give our varieties their identity and character.

We believe that the quality of a beverage begins long before it is made: it is directly related to the selection of its ingredients, their freshness, their characteristics, and the care we take at every stage of the process. Natural fermentation is at the heart of our approach. Unlike conventional industrial processes, our production requires time, monitoring, and control at every stage, as we work with live cultures and biological processes that need specific conditions to develop properly.

That is why we maintain artisanal production, where every stage is important: from preparing the ingredients to fermentation, bottling, and cold storage. We do not seek to produce en masse at any cost, but rather to grow while maintaining the standards of quality, authenticity, and care that gave rise to our brand. We also value working with local farmers and suppliers because we believe that strengthening local business relationships helps build a closer, more responsible, and sustainable value chain.

Our brand vision

At Álter Ego, we want to help diversify the beverage market in Chile, introducing more people to naturally fermented products that are made artisanally with quality ingredients.

Our vision is to establish ourselves as a Chilean brand recognized for its quality, authenticity, and innovation, demonstrating that it is possible to build a growing artisanal production business without losing the essence of its processes. We believe in a way of doing business that values the origin of ingredients, manual work, responsible production, and relationships with those who are part of our production chain.

We want every bottle to represent not only a beverage, but also a different way of thinking about consumption: more conscious, closer to local producers, and open to new experiences.
