This is my way of honoring tradition, of leaving something important for my daughter Inara, of preserving those vines that were here before me and will be here after. For me that is reason enough because the land always ends up guiding you in the right direction, and if along the way I can do it in an agroecological way, nourishing soils, rehydrating watersheds and planting slow-growing species whose shade I will not see, but which will bring a diversity of species, bugs, animals, fungi, birds, that is more than enough. At Agrícola La Guardiana we have been making País and Moscatel wine since 2021, in Ñipas, Ránquil. I like to think of myself as working on the shoulders of giants, making natural, healthy, delicious wine, that makes your mouth water, that brings together tables, laughter, and conversations that cannot wait.
